Tina Turner Was a Nurse and Still Looks Great

Tina Turner studied nursing and was actually a nurse in a maternity ward while juggling singing at local St. Louis clubs. She sang at night and worked at the hospital during the day.

Raised in a poor family in the segregated South, Tina's full name was Anna Mae Bullock. Her mother insisted she become a nurse and Tina would probably have pursued that vocation had she not picked up the microphone in a St. Louis club and let the world here her astounding voice.

In her later years, many of her fans marveled at her ability to maintain such a youthful appearance. Plastic surgeons admit that if Turner had any plastic surgery, it was very well done. For one thing, her neckline lacks the common age sag seen in many women her age. Some believe she may have had a facelift at some time.

Another remarkable aspect of her youthful appearance is her skin, which has remained completely smooth. Laser treatments like Fraxel used in combination with chemical peels may have helped here. Finally, her attractively arched brows could be the result of a possible brow lift combined with Botox injections—both have been known to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet that women often develop as they get older.

Plastic surgeons admit that Turner has defied the years and is aging very gracefully. If she’s had any plastic surgery, it appears to be natural and not as obvious as some others in the entertainment industry.
